『禁断の秘密資料』
四月。
薔薇の館には現在乃梨子、瞳子、菜々ちゃんしかいない。お姉さま方は少し遅くなる予定だ。
自分たちのお茶を入れ、さて何をしようかという時に菜々ちゃんが小さなノートを取り出した。
「あら、暗記もの?」
「勉強とかそんなのではないのですが、まあ、覚えておかなくてはいけないことですから」
なんて気になる言い方をするので乃梨子は瞳子と一緒に中を見てみた。
そこにはカタカナと説明がいっぱい書き込まれていた。よく読むとそれは薬の名前らしく形状や効能が詳しく書かれている。
「令さまに、お姉さまに万一のことがあったらこれを持ち歩いているはずだから飲ませて、と言われてまして」
「ああ……」
言われて見れば確かに令さまの字だ。
由乃さまは昔体が弱かったらしく、今もごくたまに調子を崩すことがあるらしい。
「あと、アレルギー、と言うより薬の飲み合わせもあるようでして」
この薬にはこれを食べさせないでとか、これを多食しちゃ駄目とか、本当にまめである。
「他にもいろいろ注意事項が……」
体調が保たれるベストな状況、温湿度管理のコツや好き嫌いといった嗜好にまで言及していて過保護ぶりがうかがえる。
でも、これって。
「なんだかペットの飼い方みたいね」
お姉さま方のお茶を入れるために席を立ったとき瞳子がつぶやいた。乃梨子も無言でうなずいた。
ちなみに後で祐巳さまに聞いたところ。
「あ、修学旅行に行く前に令さまから似たようなメモもらったな」
だそうだ。
まあ、珍獣といえはそんな感じしますけどね。
